
The insect collection at Senckenberg Research Institute in Frankfurt holds over 1.8 Mio. beetle specimens, 270,000 thrips, and close to 1,200 twisted winged parasites. Significantly expanded over the last 50 years, it is one of the three most important collections in the world.
ONE of those bugs has dried dinosaur blood on it, I fucking just know it.
