“I always said there was a scene we could probably never do, which was the definitive Wolverine scene. It would be Wolverine eating his corn flakes on some bright Sunday morning and Kitty comes bouncing down the stairs and catches him at exactly the wrong moment and says “Hi, fuzzface” or something. And he turns around and disembowels her without even thinking about it and goes on eating his breakfast. Now, obviously that’s not going to happen, but in a realistic portrayal of a homicidal maniac that is something that should have happened.”
